This summer, we’re inviting young writers, aged 10 to 17 years old, to join writing coach and author Lisa Marks, at Read on Sea, for a fun and inspiring six-week creative writing school designed to build confidence, spark imagination and encourage creativity, in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Fridays | 9am–11am
Starting Friday 24 July and continuing weekly until the final showcase session on Wednesday 26 August.

Over six weeks, young writers will:

* Create unforgettable characters
* Build imaginative worlds
* Learn how exciting stories work
* Share and perform their work
* Leave with finished stories and new confidence

They will enjoy a variety of creative writing games, imaginative prompts, storytelling challenges, group activities and supportive feedback.

Our final session will bring both groups together on Wednesday 26 August for a storytelling showcase celebration, where the children will have the opportunity to read their stories out loud for the audience. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend and celebrate their creative achievements.
